Tinker tinker!

Loving having time to tinker away, finishing up some more lightbulbs for the 18th of Feb! Arn't they sweet.

Will have an array at the Market, groups of three ir single ones, fab for herbs or just a gorgeous wee rose! See you on the 18th in Masterton. I have missed everyone, cant wait to have to New Rags family back together for a good old chin wag!

Old friends and new faces

Tis nearly the time to be seeing our friends again on the 18th of Feb, we have such a great line up to start the year in Masterton with. Its a busy time for our beautiful region with lots going on, so we are so pleased to be adding to the bunch!



We are excited to see new stall holders, like Timeless, offering real retro treasures.


Sarah Kaye offers the most amazing pieces of art for your home, taking the kitchen rug to a whole new level! Using only top quality Axminster carpet, Sarah creates pieces that will be a talking point in your home, I personally have a red tiki in my house and I adore it!

Time is ticking away fast isn't it already! We are so excited about Sunday, looking forward to a relaxed day with our New Rags family. We really have become on you know, its so lovely being able to get together at every market and share new creations and ideas.

Great ideas.

As we gear up again for more markets, moving towards encouraging our communities to buy handmade and local products, I have been browsing around for ideas to make New Rags Market more accessible, successful and a destination.
I have found some great tips here, encouraging stall holders to think more about how they are presented! Some very good tips here, as I am attempting my own craft stall this year I for sure will be taking these tips on board.

We have decided to bring New Rags to Greytown in 2012! We have 26 Spaces avalible for January 22nd, perfect for the long weekend visitors! And perfect for stall holders. Taking applications now, bring on summer

Christmas Market Huge Success!

Sorry this post is a wee late, but what a manic last couple of weeks!
We had a lovely Christmas market, with a very busy and fun time had by all! Santa made an appearance and brought some Christmas cheer! We had 50 stalls that night, our largest, and what a fantastic group of people! It was a fantastic way to end the market year in Masterton. Here are a few pics from the night! Bring on next year!
